Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene

A review is required by a professional engineer or industrial hygienist when a process uses or produces a substance that may result in the exposure of a worker in excess of any occupational exposure limit set out in Regulation 833, 835, 836, 837, 838, 839, 840, 841, 842, 843, 844, 845 or 846 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990. Effectively, this means that a review is necessary when there is a possibility of exposure to any chemical in excess of an occupational exposure limit.

Please note that the following Regulations have been revoked: 835, 836, 837, 839, 840, 841, 842, 843, 844, 845 or 846. These have been consolidated in to O.Reg.490/09. Follow links to the left for updated legislation (please confirm all information since this website may not be up to date).

Quite often we encounter closed piping systems, and we are able to perform engineering reviews of the process to determine the risk of exposure. However, it is occasionally necessary to perform air quality testing.

Containment and ventilation are extremely important. Contact 亚搏888娱乐 today to see how we can help you design the system or assess the system that you already have.
